Iran's Ministry of Agriculture Jihad will the receive necessary amount of foreign currency, as approved by the Government's Economic Coordination Headquarters, chaired by the country's President Ebrahim Raisi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The issue of supply of foreign currency required by the Ministry was raised at the ninth meeting of the Government's Economic Coordination Headquarters.
President Raisi stressed the need to accelerate measures to stabilize the market, especially the distribution of basic goods.
Referring to the report on the clearance of goods from the ports, he stressed the need to speed up the clearance process.
At this meeting, First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber presented a report on the market situation and the measures taken to stabilize prices.
