Iran, Malaysia sign MoU

(IRNA) - Iran and Malaysia signed a memorandum of understanding here Tuesday on expansion of cooperation between their standards institutes.

The MoU was inked by the deputy head of the Iran Standards and Industrial Research Institute (ISIRI), Nezamoddin Barzegari, and his Malaysian counterpart Zainal Abdin.

Pursuant to the MoU, Iran and Malaysia will now bolster their bilateral cooperation in the fields of research and technology, development of human resources and exchange of experts and consultant services, reports Trend.

Barzegari expressed hope the MoU would effectively contribute to expansion of Iran-Malaysia cooperation, particularly in the field of exports.
