Iran exported 18.719 million tons of petrochemical products during the first half of current fiscal year, started on March 21.
The country’s petchem exports increased by 53.5 percent year on year, while the value of exports increased by 22 percent to $8.698 billion, the country’s customs administration reported Oct.7.
In total, Iran exported $21.706 billion worth of non-oil products in 1HFY, about 5.99 percent more than in the same period of last year. The imports also decreased by 2.61 percent to $20.308 billion.
