Flight of the Ukrainian airline "Aerosvit" Tbilisi-Kiev could not fly out from Tbilisi due to technical problems of the aircraft. Aircraft passengers told Trend, they were told that the aircraft has landing gear problems and therefore departures delayed by 9 hours.
Instead of the scheduled departure at 7 am, the airline promises to start at 16.00 Tbilisi time.
It should be noted that among the 150 passengers, there are delegation of Ukrainian MPs, journalists and civil society organizations, which were in Georgia by the invitation of the National Security Council.
Among the passengers also are Georgian wrestlers team? who flying to Katowice (Poland) at the European Championship in Kiev. Members of the delegation stated if they were late for the competition team could be removed from it.
Meanwhile, representatives of the airlines categorically refuse to call a concrete timetable for repairing of the aircraft, citing irregularities in the hydraulic system.
Passengers are offered to travel to Kiev at their own expense only a day later flights through Minsk, and Simferopol. At the same time representatives of the airlines are not going to compensate money for overnight stay in Tbilisi.
