Seven people, including a pregnant woman were killed in a car accident near the village Tsevani (Western Georgia, Imereti region), Interior ministry reported.
The cause of the accident was roll of sheet metal taking off in the direction of a minibus with passengers from the truck going ahead . The driver was unable to get away from the collision, as result, 6 people, including the driver of a van, died on the spot. One more died after they were taken to the hospital.
According to recent reports, the driver of the truck is a Turkish national, who is charged with the creation of an emergency, detained under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia - a violation of the rules of traffic and operating rules.
