BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. Georgia's re-export of cars to Azerbaijan decreased from January through July 2022, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
According to statistics, the number of re-exported cars from Georgia to Azerbaijan in seven months totaled 17,150 cars, which is a decrease of 16.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 (20,658).
However, the value of Georgia’s re-export of cars to Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to $159.3 million, which is an increase of 15.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($137.6 million).
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total re-export of cars from January through July 2022 increased by 49.4 percent compared to $247.8 million - up to $370.4 million.
