Iraqi parliament voted on Tuesday for a "partial" government, ending a nine-month long political stalemate that has dragged on since the March 7 election.
Several ministers were assigned as acting ministers for a second post until Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki appoints new ministers, DPA reported.
"The rest are postponed to consider female nominees" or have a closer look on the candidates portfolios, al-Maliki told the parliament.
