The plane carrying presidential candidate Barack Obama made an unscheduled landing Monday after facing mechanical problems, dpa reported.
The presumptive Democratic nominee was flying from Chicago to attend a rally in Charlotte, South Carolina, before mechanical problems forced a landing in St Louis, Missouri.
The problems were fixed and the pilot never lost of control of the plane.
