Georgian Ministry of Justice initiated amendments to the law on legal status of foreigners and stateless persons.
These amendments are designed to tighten the rules of foreigners' arriving in the country.
"We had an extremely liberal regime. Citizens of 118 countries were able to stay in Georgia's territory within 360 days without visa. Others were able to get visas right in the airport. All this will change and will subject to a great regulation," Deputy Minister of Justice Alexander Baramidze said on Wednesday.
