IFRC president makes statement on death of volunteer following Armenia's Barda shelling

President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Francesco Rocca made a statement in connection to the death of a volunteer as result of Armenian shelling, Trend reports.
“Shocked and appalled by the killing of one of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society volunteer in Barda, Azerbaijan, while he was delivering aid to civilians. Humanitarian are not a target. My thoughts and condolences to his beloved,” he said.
A volunteer from the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, a father of two, was killed in the shelling of Azerbaijani Barda on Oct. 28, 2020. Two other volunteers were injured.
