NATO PA Session’s Agenda Publicized
Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr I. Alizadeh / The agenda of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly's (PA) autumn session to take place in Reykjavik, Iceland from 5 to 9 October has been publicized, a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO PA, and a member of the Azerbaijani Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Security and Defence Affairs, Siyavush Novruzov, said in Baku on 20 September.
Black Sea countries' energy security, Europe's energy security, the status of Kosovo, the situation in Afghanistan, and the situation with Iran will be discussed at the session.
" Azerbaijan is also mentioned in the report about Black Sea countries' energy security to be discussed at the session. Therefore, the Azerbaijani delegation will participate in the discussion on the subject," he said.
According to Novruzov, meetings of NATO PA's different committees are planned to be held within the framework of the session.
Azerbaijan is not a full but associative member of NATO PA. The Azerbaijani delegation to the NATO PA is headed by the Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Ziyafat Askarov.
