Azerbaijani and Turkish youth plan to climb the mountain Agri Dag on December 31 - Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
This initiative was made at a meeting between Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov and Youth and Sports General Director Yunus Akgul in Baku.
Rahimov also made a proposal to organize a bike ride from Nakhchivan to the Turkish province of Igdir. Both initiatives were supported by the Turkish side.
Ragimov pointed out that athletes can participate in joint training competitions, as well as to train in the newly built Olympic training center sports Kur.
Minister also touched on the question of restoring youth camps, functioning a few years ago.
"Turkey likes Azerbaijan, but unfortunately, Turkish people know little about the culture and history of our country. We conduct GUAM Youth Days in Baku with pleasure.
During the visit, Akgul visited the tomb of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Honorary Cemetery.
