Azerbaijani museums will hold 'open days' on May 18 and May 22. Admission to all museums over the country will be free on these days, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend.
These dates are not chosen by chance. It is International Museum Day on May 18, and on May 22, the traditional 'Night of Museums', an action initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France, in which Azerbaijan has been participating since 2002.
A number of other events will also be held with regard to the International Day of Museums.
