BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. The value of Azerbaijan's non-oil exports increased from January through July 2022, the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told Trend.

According to the center, this figure amounted to $1.7 billion, up by 24.2 percent on annual basis, while the total value of the country’s exports in the reporting period was $22.6 billion.

In the first seven months of 2022, Azerbaijani exports of fruits and vegetables equaled $376.9 million, which is 11.5 percent more than in the same period of 2021.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijani exports of chemical products increased by 3.6 times, aluminum and products thereof - by 99 percent, ferrous metals and products thereof – by 28.1 percent, cotton fiber – by 5.4 percent, and tea – by 57.2 percent compared to the first seven months of last year.

In July 2022, Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $4.1 billion, while non-oil exports accounted for $224.6 million of the total volume. During this period, Azerbaijani food exports increased by 43.7 percent, reaching $61.7 million, whereas non-food products – by 9.5 percent, up to $162.9 million.
