The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from 14 to 20 Oct. 2019, amounted to $97.2 million, which is 13.5 percent more than the previous week’s indicator, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.
The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to $46.5 million, with an increase of 27 percent.
The volume of exchange trading on the platform increased from $76.4 to $85.6 million.
At the foreign exchange trading platform, goods worth $1.3 million were sold.
In the export structure, the share of polymer products was 85 percent, the share of cotton fiber was 9 percent, and the share of motor oil was 6 percent.
The volume of exhibition and fair trade compared to the previous week almost doubled, and amounted to $ 2.6 million.
The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to $350,000, or 13 percent of the total amount of transactions.
Last week, transactions worth $8.4 million were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement.
The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded $2.1 million.
During the period under review, 784 car license plates were sold through an online auction. The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about $403,000.
As a result of competitive bidding, 18.9 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 48.9 percent of deals on category 2 and 32.3 percent on category 3 of license plates.
