Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR’s bonds, which are on sale at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE), have risen in price by 1 percent, SOCAR said Oct. 27.
“The selling price of the bonds with a nominal price of $1,000 has increased by 1 percent and now amounts to $1,010,” reads the SOCAR message.
Deals worth $151,500 on 150 SOCAR bonds were concluded at the BSE on Oct. 27.
“The day before, bonds worth $1001.25 amounting to $3 million in total were in circulation at the BSE. Currently, SOCAR bonds are being sold at $1016.39 at the BSE,” the message said.
SOCAR bonds’ sales in secondary market started on October 18. The nominal value of each bond out of 100,000 bonds amounts to $1,000.
The bonds’ circulation period is 24 months and the annual bond yield is 5 percent.
The interest is to be paid every three months.
