BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Total assets of Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank increased from January through March 2022, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the balance sheet, this figure exceeded 7.1 billion manat ($4.1 billion), up by 1.4 billion manat ($820 million) or 25.69 percent on annual basis.

The largest share (37.36 percent) in their structure accounted for the loan portfolio, which grew by 21.18 percent over the year to 2.6 billion manat ($1.5 billion).

Targeted reserves worth 59 million manat ($34.7 million) were deduced from the bank's portfolio to ensure possible losses in the first quarter of this year.

Meanwhile, about 28.22 percent of PASHA Bank’s aggregate assets were cash and cash equivalents, which amounted to two billion manat ($1.1 billion).

Another 21.14 percent of the bank's assets were investments in securities – 1.5 billion manat ($880 million).

Unused real estate in the structure of PASHA Bank’s long-term assets amounted to 16.6 million manat ($9.7 million).

Intangible assets of the bank exceeded 29.2 million manat ($17.1 million).

The bank’s other assets amounted to over 125.1 million manat ($73.6 million) in 1Q2022.
