The Turkish Embassy in Astana will host the presentation of the book 'Turkish Breakthrough' dedicated to 13 companies that have made significant contributions to the development of Kazakhstan's economy and strengthening the friendship between the two countries, the Turkish Embassy told Trend on Friday.

"The book refers to such well-known companies as Hamle Company, which invested in the production of food in Kazakhstan, Galaksi Group, which invested in the production of building materials, Abdi Ibrahim, which is currently constructing a pharmaceutical plant," the Embassy said.

According to the Embassy, the book also refers to Ata Stroy, which implemented a number of projects in the field of construction, Ipek Kagit -production of hygienic paper products, Sema Hospital - construction of a modern hospital, Teksan Aydinlatma - production of lighting products and other companies.

In general, in twenty years of Kazakhstan's independence, Turkish companies invested over $2 billion in the country's economy and created thousands of jobs.

The book tells the history of the establishment and development of these companies, as well as their contribution to the economy of Kazakhstan and current activities in this country.

The presentation will be attended by Turkish Ambassador to Kazakhstan Omer Burhan Tuzel, management of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency and the JSC National Export and Investment Agency Kaznex Invest, as well as representatives of the companies, which are spoken about in this book.

The book was published with the support of the Turkish Embassy in Kazakhstan, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency and the National Export and Investment Agency Kaznex Invest.
