BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. Uzbekistan exported 98,100 tons of melons and watermelons worth $26.6 million from January through July 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The export of melons and watermelons in the corresponding period increased by 44,500 tons compared to the same period in 2021.
Uzbekistan exported 82,900 tons of melons and watermelons worth $22.7 million last year. In 2021, melons and watermelons grown in the country were supplied to the markets of 23 countries.
