Kazakhstan, Astana, June 7 / Trend D. Mukhtarov /

Upcoming talks in Moscow between Iran and six world powers on Tehran's nuclear program should be a milestone, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters in Astana on Thursday.

He said the Russian side has a feeling that Iran is interested to carry on a sustainable process of negotiations.

The next round of talks between Tehran and six world powers (China, Russia, USA, UK, France + Germany) on the Iranian nuclear issue will be held in Moscow on June 18-19. Previous rounds were held in Istanbul and Baghdad.

U.S., other Western countries, and Israel suspect Iran of developing nuclear weapons under the guise of peaceful nuclear energy program. Tehran denies the charges, saying its nuclear program is for civilian purposes.

Six world powers have sought since 2003 in cooperation with the IAEA Iran's suspension of uranium enrichment, which can pose a threat to the nuclear non-proliferation.
