Iran’s gasoline consumption grows

Iranians on average consumed 80.4 million liters of gasoline per day over the first ten months of the current fiscal year (starting March 20).

The figure has increased by 7.9 percent or 5.9 million litters compared to the same period of last year, Mehr news agency reported.

According to the latest report by the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), the country’s gasoline output rose by eight percent to stand at 74.6 million liters per day during the first eight months of the fiscal 2017/18.

Iran produced 25.824 million liters of Euro-4 quality ‎ gasoline and 48.791 million liters of gasoline with non-Euro quality on a daily basis during the 8-month period, 16 and 4 percent more, respectively, year-on-year.
