Georgia is under big pressure and exist attempt to undermine foreign policy of the the country, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said at a forum in Greece on Thursday .
He addressed the audience at the meeting of European People's Party Forum with theme "Deepening relations with the East," which takes place in Athens.
"The case that happened in Georgia in October of last year in the last election, and the case happened a few days ago in the Parliament of Moldova completely changes the balance. This is setback for our European choice," Saakashvili said.
The President stressed that were spent big money to win elections in Georgia. "These financial manipulations and big money have played a crucial role. Few days ago, on exactly the same scenario money came into politics in Moldova. The result was - Prime Minister Filat deposed, prospects of Moldova are not clear again," he said.
Saakashvili said that pro-Western powers in Georgia are under "big pressure". "There is a clear attempt to undermine the foreign policy and undermine the partnership with countries such as Azerbaijan," Saakashvili said.
