Azerbaijan reveals data on investments in fixed assets in Nakhchivan

Some 9.6 million ($16.3 million) were allocated from all financial sources to the fixed capital manat from January through November of 2021 for the development of the socio-economic sphere of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), which is 1.3 percent more than over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via NAR State Statistical Committee.

According to the Ministry, 95.1 percent of investments, which amounts to 9.1 million manat ($15.4 million) in fixed assets, fell on construction and installation works.

The GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic over the first 11 months of 2021 amounted to more than 2.6 billion manat ($4.4 billion), which is an increase of 1.4 percent, compared to the same period of 2020.

The GDP per capita in the reporting period of 2021 increased by 2.6 percent year-on-year and amounted to 5,693 manat ($9,677).
