Iranian Foreign Ministry on Visit to Tbilisi

Georgia, Tbilsi, 17 September /corr. Trend N.Kirtskhalia / The Foreign Minister of Iran, Manouchehr Mottaki, is on a working visit to Tbilisi. During his visit, he already met with the President Mikhail Saakashvili, the Foreign Ministry of Georgia said. Now he meets with the Foreign Minister of Georgia, Ekaterina Tkeshelashvili.

Before his visit to Tbilisi, the Foreign Minister of Iran visited Russia, Azerbaijan, Germany, and yesterday returning to Tehran, Mottaki held a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Eduard Nalbyandyan.   

Mottaki said that his diplomatic efforts over the recent days contributed to peace and stability in Caucasus region after the war in Georgia, the website of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said.
