The Penal Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice hosted an event dedicated to the Memorial Day of Azerbaijani National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
At the ceremony held at the museum, reflecting the life and activities of the great leader, the Deputy Minister of Justice, Chief of the Penal Service, Justice Lieutenant-General, Nazim Alekperov, made a speech, the public relations department of Penal Service reported on Friday. He noted that in the most difficult and severe conditions, the nationwide leader was not afraid of jeopardizing his life and the lives of his close people for Azerbaijan's independence and interests of the people.
Evaluating today's achievements in all spheres, including economic, political, cultural, legal, international and other spheres as a result of devotion to Heydar Aliyev's ideas and political course, the deputy minister said that living in one era with a brilliant figure causes a feeling of great pride.
Mentioning the special role of the great leader, who has an indispensable place in the history of Azerbaijani statehood, the strengthening and development of people's sovereignty, the senior officials of the Penal Service, who spoke at the event, noted that his activity is an example for present and future generations, and that his bright memory will forever will live in people's memory.
At the end of the event, participants watched a film dedicated to the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev.
