BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 29. A farewell ceremony was held at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport for the crew members who tragically lost their lives in the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane crash, Trend reports.
Relatives of the victims, officials, and members of the public have attended the farewell ceremony.
The three crew members who lost their lives - Captain Igor Kshnyakin, Pilot Alexander Kalyaninov, and Flight Attendant Hokuma Aliyeva - will be laid to rest today in the Second Alley of Honor.
On December 25, AZAL Embraer 190 operating flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny tragically crashed near the city of Aktau, claiming 38 lives and injuring 29 others.
