BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 8. Members of the Kyrgyz Club of Azerbaijan's Friends sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day, Trend reports on November 9.
"Dear Mister President,
On behalf of all members of the Kyrgyz Club of Azerbaijan’s Friends, we congratulate you and the entire Azerbaijani people on Victory Day. Our public association was founded in 2020 in the midst of battles to liberate the territory of Karabakh, which had been occupied for almost 30 years.
In its first public statement, our Club, expressing the public opinion of Kyrgyzstan, came out with full support for the military operation of the Azerbaijani army to restore the country's territorial integrity. The victory achieved in the autumn of 2020 was the result of the high combat readiness of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, their high morale and patriotism, the unity of the entire Azerbaijani people in an effort to achieve their main national goal - the reunification of Karabakh with the Motherland.
It’s amazing how fast and with what love the post-conflict reconstruction of the liberated territory is going on - transport, social and cultural infrastructure is being built, new residential houses are being built and damaged houses are being repaired. In a word, the long-awaited peace came to the ancient land of Karabakh.
We are pleased to state that a real breakthrough has recently taken place in relations between our countries, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have embarked on a strategic partnership. We are convinced that this will enable to make fuller use of the huge potential of all-round cooperation both at the bilateral level and within the framework of integration processes in the Turkic world.
We wish you, Mister President, health and well-being, and peace and prosperity to the fraternal Azerbaijani people," said the letter.
