BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. The Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held a session on September 20 to review the results of the elections for the Supreme Majlis held on September 1, 2024, Trend reports.
The election results were approved by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Chairperson of the Supreme Court, Saadat Bektashi, opened the session by stating that the results of the elections were being reviewed under Article 16 of the Constitution. Based on the materials received from the Central Election Commission of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the issue of verifying the results of the elections to the Supreme Majlis held on September 1, 2024, is being considered constitutionally.
Supreme Court Judge Ali Allahverdiyev then presented a report on the results of the review and the confirmation of the election outcomes.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission Akram Huseynzade, provided detailed information about the electoral process during the session.
Head of the Office of the State Statistics Committee Habib Rzayev emphasized that committee specialists actively participated in the verification process and presented their conclusions.
In conclusion, the Supreme Court announced its decision to validate the results of the elections held for the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on September 1, 2024.
