Azerbaijan organized the championship well last time, President of the Technical Commission of the European Union of Gymnastics UEG Haydée Bruneder said.
The 25th European Championships on Rhythmic Gymnastics will start in Baku on May 15. The Gymnastics Federation of Azerbaijan has undertaken to organize the championship. A total of 186 gymnasts from 32 countries will attend the competition. On the same day, an official opening ceremony of the championship which will begin at 18:30 local time will take place.
"This time, Azerbaijan has organized everything even better than last time," he told journalists at a news conference on May 14.
Bruneder said Azerbaijan is more hospitable compared to other countries. "We have been very warmly received and we will feel the hospitality that is very important for us," Bruneder said. The atmosphere and organization of the championship in Azerbaijan is at a high level and interest of the media also demonstrates the excellent organization of this event, he said. "I hope that the results will also be at the highest level," he added.
