BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 18. One more mobile medical examination campaign was organized by AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company in Dashkasan with the support of Baku Health Centre.
Residents of Chovdar village, Shadakh settlement, Chaykand, Gushchu, Bayan and other villages near the Chovdar gold deposit benefited from free medical services for three days under Health First! slogan. On the first day of the campaign, families of martyrs, including veterans and war participants, were examined. More than 300 residents were examined by a team of professional doctors, including general surgeon, otorhinolaryngologist, general practitioner, endocrinologist, cardiologist, neurologist, pediatrician, and also ultrasound examination, echo- and electrocardiogram were provided, general analysis of blood and urine, viral hepatitis in blood, blood pressure and glucose levels were checked. A total of 1 226 services were provided to residents within the campaign.
The mobile medical examination campaign, which is held regularly from 2021, aims at increasing the access of remote village residents to quality health services, early diagnosis of diseases and promoting awareness of preventive examination. More than 2 000 Dashkasan residents benefited from free medical services within the four years of campaigns. During the examinations, citizens who were diagnosed with various diseases were provided with relevant treatment courses.
Note that the residents of the villages near the Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area take advantage of regular projects on environmental protection, education, health, employment, promotion of entrepreneurship, etc. by AzerGold CJSC. Our main goal is to support the residents of the region, especially socially vulnerable families, and to make additional contributions to the state policy in this direction.
