Azerbaijan, Shaki / Trend corr. E.Guliyev / The third meeting of the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry was held in Shaki on 2 June.
Elchin Afandiyev, the deputy prime minister, the heads of executive authorities of 6 regions and the cultural and tourism departments attended the meeting.
Abulfaz Garayev, the Culture and Tourism Minister of Azerbaijan, stressed the importance of joint meetings. These meetings will provide condition to examine the situation in regions, to render assistance and to define the prospects of local organizations.
The demonstration of huge tourism potential of Shaki, as well as the celebrations dedicated to silk and pomegranate in Geychay regions of Azerbaijan have become a tradition lately.
