Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr Z. Safarov / The Azerbaijan Federation of Football Associations (AFFA) is in search for a partner for a friendly match against the Azerbaijani National Team.
The friendly match has been scheduled for the 22nd of August and AFFA made a proposal to its Macedonia colleagues. However, the rival team is not satisfied with the date and the Macedonia National Federation will give the final decision next week. AFFA does not rule out matches with the teams of Montenegro and Jordan, in case the Azerbaijani National Team fails to have a match against the Macedonian team.
The forthcoming control match to be held in August will be the general rehearsal for the trainees of Shahin Diniyev on the threshold to the Euro-2008 selection matches challenging Armenia.
