BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The turnover through new generation cash registers in Azerbaijan has notably increased from January through September 2022, Trend reports on October 19 via the Azerbaijani State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the service, this figure amounted to 16.9 billion manat ($9.9 billion), up by 52.8 percent on annual basis.
More than 75,000 new generation cash registers have been installed in trade and service facilities of Azerbaijan to date, the service said.
The installation of these devices has been carried out stage by stage since the second quarter of 2019.
The State Tax Service plans to complete the fourth stage of the installation of new-generation cash registers in trade and service facilities by December 31, 2022.
