BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Receipts for contributions to compulsory state social insurance increased by 14.4 percent (375.6 million manatç or $220.9 million) and reached 3 billion manat ($1.7 billion) in Azerbaijan, from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy, extra-budgetary organization revenues climbed by 15.6 percent to 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion) in 2022.
Income from unemployment insurance premiums climbed by 15.6 percent year on year to 105.2 million manat ($61.8 million), including income from non-budgetary organizations, which increased by 15.8 percent to 76.6 million manat ($45 million).
Receipts for compulsory medical insurance contributions increased by 16.9 percent compared to the same period in 2022, totaling more than 536.2 million manat ($315.4 million), including receipts from non-budgetary organizations, which increased by 19.5 percent, totaling more than 372.3 million manat ($218.9 million).
Moreover, receipts for contributions to compulsory state social insurance increased by 19.2 percent (737.8 million manat) and reached 4.6 billion manat in Azerbaijanç in 2022 compared to 2021.
