As of May 1, assets of Azerbaijani Bank Respublika hit 392.8 million manat increasing 42.8 percent compared to 275.2 million manat as of May 1, 2008, the bank said.
As of accounting date, balance of the bank's loan portfolio hit 240.5 million manat demonstrating growth of portfolio on 19.9 percent compared to the same period of 2008.
As of May 1, volume of funds at clients' accounts in Bank Respublika exceeded 140.5 million manat given annual growth of 16.3 percent. Funds of physical entities in Bank Respublika increased 9.7 percent compared to 85.5 million manat in the same period of 2008. As of accounting date, volume of population's deposits increased 19.4 percent and hit 72 million manat compared to 60.3 million manat in the same period of 2008.
As a result of January-April 2009, income of Bank Respublika hit 22.1 million manat given expenditure in the amount of 14.97 million manat. Balance profit of the bak hit 7.13 million manat per accounting period.
Bank Respublika opened a new branch in Jalilabad last month within program on extension of branch network. From early 2009 the bank opened four new regional branches by reaching the number of branches and departments to 32. System of urgent money transfer Western Union announced Akhmedli branch of Bank Respublika as "Best branch on all categories" in April.
Bank Respublika launched its activity in 1992. The bank's share holders include two big financial organizations of Germany - DEG, member of KfW bank group, and SIDT, member of Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, having the bank's package of shares in the amount of 25 percent + a share. As of May 1, 2009 joint capital of Bank Respublika reached 57 million manat given authorized capital of 22.6 million manat.
