Kyrgyzstan's budget will receive KGS 583 million from the mining sector of the economy in 2011, as the Minister of Natural Recourses stated at the press conference on Monday, news agency "24.kg" reported.

He said, in 2010 the GDP of the mining industry was KGS 69.1 billion, it is 32.5 percent of the Republican index. Last year it was produced 18.3 tons of gold and 1.37 billion tons of oil and gas, and 558,000 tons of coal.

The increase in tax revenues forecast by the Ministry is due to start of three companies involved in gold mining - "Zhamgyr", "Kara-Kazyk" and "Ishtamberdy". The minister said that the launch of the companies will create 2.5 thousand new jobs.
