The share of Iran's gross domestic product (GDP) in water, gas and electricity sectors increased by 3.8 percent during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - June 20, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to Central Bank of Iran.

According to the report, the value of gross domestic product in water, gas and electricity sectors was 126 trillion rials (about $3.01 billion) in three months, according to the stable prices in 2011.

"While in the same period last Iranian year, this figure was 122 trillion rials (about $2.9 billion)," the report said.

According to the report, the value of GDP in water, gas and electricity sectors in Iran was 507 trillion rials (about $12 billion) last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).

The value of Iran's gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 2.8 percent and was 1.45 quadrillion rials (about $34.7 billion) during the first three months of the current Iranian year.
