Kazakhstan’s Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources Magzum Mirzagaliyev has invited Hungarian companies for joint implementation of projects in geological exploration, Trend reports citing the ministry.
Mirzagaliyev made the invitation during the meeting with Hungarian Ambassador in Kazakhstan Mihai Galoshfai.
During the meeting Mirzagaliyev noted that a "State Exploration Program for the period 2021-2025" draft has been developed in the country, which will be open to all investors wishing to invest their funds at all stages of exploration, from regional research to obtaining the right to subsurface use.
At the same time, he said, the National Bank of Mineral Resources information system is to be launched in mid-2021, one of the tasks of which will be to introduce the ‘single window’ principle for investors and existing subsoil users by simplifying access to subsoil use processes.
The system will allow to collect geological reports, balances of mineral reserves, certificates of deposits, data on the study of the territory and other geological information in a single database.
The sides also discussed issues of existing cooperation between the countries in the field of water resources management.
During the meeting, Mirzagaliyev also invited Hungarian companies to take part in the implementation of projects to solve problems related to atmospheric air pollution in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe region, as well as topical issues of Lake Balkhash in Karaganda region and the Koshkar ata tailing dump in the Mangystau region.
