BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. The value of Iran’s exports from Hamadan Province (western Iran), amounted to about $36 million, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2022), Director General of Hamadan Province Customs Office Javad Mohammadi told IRIB, Trend reports.

The director general stressed that exports increased by 50 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.

According to Mohammadi, the main exported goods were ferrosilicon, raisins, electric motors, aluminum wire, dairy products, etc. These goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Türkiye, Pakistan, India, Russia, Bulgaria, Italy and other countries.

“Furthermore, about $9 million worth of goods were imported to the province in 4 months. The imported goods were various types of yarn, car spare parts, raw materials and so on, and were mainly imported from Georgia, China, the UAE, India, Türkiye, Russia and others,” he said.
