Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 27 June the Azerbaijani Fund for Export and Investment Promotion (AZPROMO) and the Chinese-European Association of Technical and Economic Cooperation (CEATEC) signed a memorandum on cooperation. The key objective of the document is support to the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and China, as well as relations between the businessmen of the two countries.
The memorandum envisages the exchange of information, expansion of relations and the organization of joint events.
The two sides stated their intention of attaching special attention to development of bonds between small and medium sized businesses of the two countries. The first step towards the cooperation is the organization of a business-forum in China in the beginning of 2008; a relevant agreement has been reached in this respect.
CEATEC is a Chinese NGO which is directly involved in supporting trade and economic relations between China and Europe. This organization analyses prospects of cooperation of companies from China and Europe, supports the development of business relations and cooperation between Government and companies.
