Major repairs of Dovletabat-Deryalyk gas pipeline underway in Turkmenistan

Turkmengundogarnebitgurlushyk trust of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas is working on major repairs and commissioning of the section of the high-pressure main gas pipeline Dovletabat-Deryalyk with a length of 60 km, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gas newspaper.

To date, welding work has been completed by 60 percent, as well as insulation and installation work and cleaning of the gas pipeline.

The country is currently working to maintain gas pipelines and uninterrupted gas supply in the winter season.

So, the condition of more than 1,350 kilometers of gas pipelines of various pressure, 370 gas distribution and gas control installations is being checked.

Special attention is paid to major repairs, reconstruction and modernization of gas transportation facilities.

Previous reports said Turkmenistan has surpassed projections of oil and gas condensate production from January through July 2020.

The estimates for seven months of oil and gas condensate production was exceeded by 2.4 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.6 percent, gas exports – by 0.4 percent, oil refining – by 3.7 percent, gasoline production – by 2.3 percent, and diesel fuel production – by 6.9 percent.
