Nominations for gas flows (entry) at Kipoi (Greece) interconnection of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) stand at 228,496,889 kWh for June 26 and 29,000,000 kWh for June 27, Trend reports citing TAP’s electronic platform.
The volume of natural gas flows at Kipoi at the time of writing is 98,540,117 kWh.
As for Nea Mesimvria, the exit nominations for June 26 stood at 36,346,301 kWh, while the actual flows so far are equal to 22,720,282 kWh. No data is available for entry nominations.
At Malendugno, the exit nominations for June 26 and June 27 amounted to 187,650,588 kWh and 29,000,000 kWh, respectively, while physical flows stood at 75,112,778 kWh.
As the European section of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP has the capacity to transport approximately 10 billion cubic meters of gas per annum (bcm/a) to several markets in Europe. The pipeline is also designed with the potential to expand its throughput capacity up to 20 bcm/a.
As a key part of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP is strategically and economically important to Europe and essential in providing reliable access to a new source of natural gas. TAP plays a significant role in boosting Europe’s energy security, supply diversification, as well as decarbonisation objectives.
TAP’s shareholding is comprised of bp (20%), SOCAR (20%), Snam (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
