Revenues of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field in January 2022 are estimated at $149.9 million, including $22.2 million from the sale of condensate, Trend reports referring to SOFAZ.
SOFAZ's revenues from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field increased by over sixfold compared to January 2021. SOFAZ's revenues from Shah Deniz amounted to $293.9 million in 2021.
The total revenues from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field from 2007 through Feb.1, 2022, amounted to $4.7 billion.
The contract for the development of the Shah Deniz field was signed on June 4, 1996, in Baku.
