The banks and credit organizations of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic issued the loans to legal entities and individuals in the amount of about 164.8 million manat ($96.9 million) from January through November 2020, Trend reports with reference to the report of the State Statistics Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
This indicator testifies to an annualized growth of 30 percent.
In accordance with the data, 17.3 million manat ($10.2 million) or 10.5 percent of issued loans are short-term loans while 147.4 million manat ($86.7 million) or 89.5 percent are long-term loans.
The gross domestic product (GDP) in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by one percent from January through November 2020, compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 2.5 billion manat ($1.5 billion).
The volume of GDP per capita in Nakhchivan increased by two percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 and amounted to over 5,000 manat ($2,941).
