Income of Tbilisi International Airport in Georgia growing

The income of the Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) of Georgia, which is operated by TAV, amounted to 250.9 million lari ($84.9 million) in 2018, which is 17.5 percent more than in 2017, due to the increase in the number of tourists, Trend reports with reference to the airport.

Operating profit increased by 32.3 million lari ($10.9 million) to 183.6 million lari ($62.1 million) in 2018.

The company’s annual profit amounted to 164.1 million lari ($55.5 million), and income taxes amounted to 23.1 million lari ($7.8 million).

Of the total revenue, the maintenance of aircraft accounts for the largest share of 153.5 million lari ($51.9 million), the lease of commercial space, trade and car parking account for the rest amount.
