BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 25. Azerbaijan and Georgia provided discounts for the transit of goods to Uzbekistan, Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
According to the agreements between the countries, the deliveries from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan have become 30 percent cheaper.
In addition, the parties were able to agree on reducing costs for trade in the Caspian Sea, in the ports of Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan) and Baku (Azerbaijan).
Currently, in Uzbekistan work is underway to find new transport routes. Recently, for the first time, the cargo was sent to Uzbekistan from the port of Mumbai (India).
