BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Uzbekneftegaz JSC has completed drilling at well No.26 of the Kuyi Surgil field (the Republic of Karakalpakstan), Trend reports via the company's statement.
As a result, an industrial gas flow of 820,000 cubic meters of gas and 1 ton of gas condensate per day was obtained.
After drilling was completed, a filter was lowered in the range of 3873-4323 meters.
The Kuyi Surgil gas condensate field is located on the territory of the Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Earlier in January, Uzbekneftegaz JSC completed repair work at well No.5 and drilling at well No.97 of the Sharkiy Berdak gas condensate field (the country’s Muynak region).
As a result, an industrial gas flow of 220,000 cubic meters of gas and 2 tons of gas condensate per day was obtained.
A perforation of well No.5 was carried out (1709-1707 meters, 1694-1682 meters, and 1660-1650 meters), while perforation of No.97 was carried out in the range of 2442-2434 meters, 2359-2354 meters, and 2346-2342 meters.
