Iran reveals amount of oil revenue over current year

Iran sold worth $23 billion of crude and condensate over the current fiscal year (started March 20).

According to data released by the Central Bank of Iran, the country, on average, has sold about 2.6 million barrels of oil and condensate on a daily basis since March.

China, India, South Korea and Japan are among Iran’s long-standing customers and account for 60 percent of Iran’s oil exports.

The report suggested that Iran exports about 40 percent of its oil to European countries.

China is the largest oil customer of Iran, as the eastern nation imported 700,000 barrels of oil per day from Iran in August.

Giants like Shell, Total, Eni and Saras are among Iran’s major European customers.

Iranian oil’s average price over the current year was $49 per barrel.
