Foreign Ministry: Free trade negotiations between Georgia and United States to be held soon

Georgia and the U.S. will start talks soon on free trade, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze told journalists on Dec.23.
The foreign minister said that free trade negotiations with the United States are at an early stage.
"I cannot say that we have already reached our goal. Negotiations are at the initial stage and we want to come to an agreement with the U.S. Trade Representative. Several meetings have been held and concrete negotiations will start soon and it will be a step forward," Panjikidze stressed.
