BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2. Iran made a 'big mistake' attacking Israel, said the country's PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Trend reports.
"This evening, Iran once again attacked Israel with hundreds of missiles. This attack failed. It was thwarted thanks to Israel’s air defense system, the most advanced in the world, and I commend the IDF for this impressive achievement. It was also thwarted thanks to the vigilance and responsibility you, the citizens of Israel, have shown. I also thank the US for its support in our defense efforts. Iran made a big mistake this evening, and it will pay for it," he said in a video message.
He added that Iran "fails to understand Israel's determination to defend itself or its resolve to strike back against its enemies".
Yesterday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it had launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel.
